Data sources

Routing

OSRM uses OpenStreetMap road data. RouteWeather is a planning tool, not turn-by-turn navigation.

Forecast

Open-Meteo hourly forecasts are matched to your ETA, with MET Norway as a service fallback. Forecasts are model guidance, not observed road conditions.

Official U.S. alerts

Active alerts come from the National Weather Service when available. Always check official weather and state transportation sources.

Fuel and charging

FuelEconomy.gov/EIA supplies a weekly U.S. average—not station prices. EV locations use NREL or Open Charge Map when configured, with OpenStreetMap and live map searches as fallbacks. Charger availability is never assumed.

Places, partners, and deals

Cards are labeled search links. RouteWeather does not fabricate inventory, ratings, prices, or coupons. Commission links say “Sponsored” beside the recommendation.
